Microsoft is currently working on two features. Microsoft Teams is getting a calendar option that allows users to create a shared calendar for channel participants. The built-in calendar automatically creates posts in Teams when a user creates a channel meeting.
Another update coming to Teams is the ability to share Outlook emails in Microsoft Teams. The users can send a copy of their conversations or email directly within Teams chat and channel. Microsoft 365 roadmap indicates that these features are expected in March 2021 and we will let you know as soon as it rolls out.
